Getting the right-size ceiling fan ensures that it will serves its purpose as an energy-reducing air conditioner that fits into the space where it's installed. 1. Put the fan on a table or a flat, open space.
2. Stretch the tape measure from the end of a fan blade across the fan engine to the end of the opposite blade.
