Getaway Cabins
Situated in southern Ohio and in the Hocking Hills State Park, Getaway Cabins has 21 rustic cabins that come in varying sizes and designs that can accommodate up to eight people. All of the cabins come with amenities such as air conditioning, hot tubs, fireplaces, DVD players, ceiling fan, gas grills, towels, linens, kitchens, bathrooms and lounging area. The expanded cabins have additional bedrooms as well as full kitchens. Most of the cabins have satellite TV, while some come with wireless Internet. Some cabins are in private and secluded areas, while others are closer together and ideal for groups. The original cabin on the property from the 1840s is now the main office. Pets are allowed for a fee. Guests can have dinners delivered from a nearby restaurant.

Lake Shawn Hunting and Fishing Cabins
The Hunting and Fishing Cabins are in the southeastern part of Oho. The property has rustic cabins overlooking Lake Shawn as well as Captina Creek. The cabins can sleep up to five people and come with satellite TV, fireplaces, barbecue grills and campfire rings. The kitchens are equipped with full size-refrigerators, stoves, ovens, cookware and utensils. Lake Shawn is a favorite spot for fishing, swimming and canoeing. The lake, which consists of 300 acres on a property with 108 acres in all, is stocked throughout the year. Electric power boats that are 15-feet long are supplied free of charge to guests. Following the fishing season, guests can also hunt for deer and wild turkey on the property.

Surf Motel
The Surf Motel has a rustic cabin along the shores of a pond in the northern part of the state. The property is on a peninsula that extends into Lake Erie. The cabin has heating and air conditioning, a stove, a full bath, a small refrigerator, a microwave and a sofa sleeper. More amenities in a cabin with a loft include TV, cooking ware and utensils, a gas grill, an outdoor deck and a screened porch. The use of a nearby swimming pool is provided on a property where guests can also stay in a motel or on RV and tent camping sites. In addition to all the fishing and boating opportunities in the area, the motel provides easy access to the Cedar Point Amusement Park and the famous Marblehead Lighthouse on Lake Erie.
