Ceiling Fans For Little Girls Rooms

Your daughter's favorite theme--like butterflies--can be added to make ceiling fans more decorative.

Ceiling fans are great fixtures for keeping a room cool, but can also be decorative tools. If your little girl has a ceiling fan in her room, try these ideas for incorporating ceiling fans into the room's overall design.

Flower Bud Fan

A floral ceiling fan is a cute look, especially if your girl has a love of flowers, gardening, or just likes pretty things in nature. To do this you can either paint the fan blades to resemble flower petals, color and flower of your choice, or make up your own petal colors. For the light bulb, you can use yellow glass paint, or a light yellow bulb cover to represent the center of the flower.

Animal Fan

If your little girl loves animals you can do animal prints for your ceiling fan blades. These look great for a jungle or safari-themed little girl's room. You can paint each blade a different print, like zebra, leopard, lion or tiger print. Another idea is to purchase fabrics that are animal print and glue them to your ceiling fan blades.

Butterfly Fan

Paint butterflies onto ceiling fan blades and add some glitter paint and flowers to make them sparkle even more. Or try a realistic butterfly look by finding some silk butterflies at your local craft's store and gluing them to the ceiling fan. Glue a bunch of little ones, or a large one on the end of each blade, however you prefer.

Starry Night Fan

A night sky theme is another ceiling fan design idea. Paint blades a serene or violet blue and add small stars and a glowing moon in paint or decals. For a nighttime glow, use glow paint and paint over the stars and the moon or find plastic glow-in-the-dark stars and moons to glue onto blades.
