1. Measure the length and width of the ceiling in inches. For example, the length may be 120 inches and the width may be 156 inches.
2. Multiply these two numbers together to obtain the total square inches. The example ceiling is 18,720 square inches.
3. Divide the total by 144 to obtain the square feet. The example ceiling is 130 square feet.
