Clean Fan Blade Cleaners

Keep your ceiling fan and blade cleaner spic and span.

Fan blade cleaners do a great job of removing the dust and grime that can collect on a ceiling fan. But what happens when the blade cleaner gets dirty? To keep the fan blade cleaner working to its potential, you should clean it after each use, or at least once the dirt buildup becomes visible. Cleaning your ceiling fan blade cleaner only takes a few minutes. Most of these cleaners are made from nylon or microfiber and can easily be washed with soap and water.

Instructions

Microfiber, Wool or Cloth

1. Remove the ceiling fan duster cloth from the head of the cleaner.

2. Wash the duster head in the washing machine with cold water on the gentle cycle.

3. Hang the duster to dry.

Nylon Brush Duster or Nonremovable Duster Cover

4. Fill a sink or bucket with room-temperature water and a tablespoon of liquid dish soap.

5. Hand-wash the ceiling fan brush's bristles. Rub the bristles with your hands until all of the visible residue is gone.

6. Rinse the bristles with cool running water.

7. Hang the brush to dry.
