Mount Bose Speakers

Home theater speakers can be mounted on the wall to reduce clutter and improve surround sound quality.

Home theaters have become a must-have home accessory over the years and Bose audio sound systems have been increasing in quality since the company's humble beginnings in the 1960s. For the best sound experience, some speakers may need to be mounted on the wall. Bose home theater systems will come with a set of brackets to provide the best support.

Instructions

1. Place a bracket on the wall and use a pen to mark the screw holes on the wall. This will make a precise mark where each drill hole should be made. It may be necessary to use a stud finder to make sure there aren't any pipes or wiring behind the wall that might be damaged during drilling. Ideally, the speakers should be mounted to a wooden stud to provide the best support.

2. Drill four start holes with the 2.5mm drill bit. Follow the drill manufacturer's instructions to achieve the best results. Place the bracket over the holes and use the screwdriver to drive the provided screws in place.

3. Insert the provided speaker knobs onto each side of the speaker. Set the speaker into the bracket so that the knobs rest in the hooks. Tighten the knobs so that they are secured onto the bracket.

4. Connect the provided wires to the proper electrical terminals and repeat the previous steps for each speaker. Follow the Bose instruction manual for specific wiring procedures.
