Clean A Greasy Kitchen Ceiling

The proper products will remove grease from kitchen ceilings.

Cooking and daily living in the kitchen area may leave a film of grease on the ceiling. Replacing the tiles or having the ceiling professionally cleaned and/or repainted are options, but all are costly for the homeowner and the environment.. Properly cleaning your greasy kitchen ceiling yourself will often restore it to its original appearance without significant costs.

Instructions

1. Place a step ladder under where you want to begin cleaning. Ensure the feet of the ladder are flat on the floor and the ladder is steady.

2. Apply a small amount of denatured alcohol to a clean rag.

3. Clean the ceiling using the denatured alcohol. Rub gently in a circular motion.

4. Move the ladder as needed, working around the kitchen with the cleaning solution. Rinse the rag frequently and reapply denatured alcohol.
