A San Lucian village, in the glow of a sunset, shows off its tropical beauty.
Gros Islet is the northernmost quarter of San Lucia (also known as Saint Lucia or St. Lucia), across the channel from Rodney Bay. Once known as a small fishing village with squat, wooden homes and streets with vendors selling fruits, vegetables and fresh baked bread, Gros Islet has been upgraded to "village" status. It is now the home of the Beausejour Cricket Grounds. Also known for its Friday street parties, Gros Islet is a island vacation desination for those looking to see a bit more of local San Lucian life, apart from the more booming tourist area in the capital city of Castries.

Each room has a private, shaded terrace or patio, private bathroom, comfortable beds, and tea and coffee service area.
