Remove A Light Bulb From A Casablanca Ceiling Fan

Replacing a light bulb on a ceiling fan

A Casablanca ceiling fan is a great way to keep your home cool and save on energy costs. Most Casablanca ceilings fans come equipped with a light socket that can use up to a 100-watt light bulb. When the light bulb goes out, you can remove it from a Casablanca ceiling fan in about five minutes.

Instructions

1. Use a stepladder to reach the ceiling fan. Push the glass dome inward with both hands and twist counter-clockwise to loosen the dome. Step back down on the stepladder and place the glass dome on a flat surface.

2. Step back on the ladder and gently grab the light bulb. Twist the light bulb counter-clockwise until it comes out of the socket. If the light bulb is warm, use a soft cloth towel to remove the light bulb.

3. Twist the new light bulb clockwise into the socket until it is tight. Take the glass dome, push up and twist clockwise until the dome is tightened. Remove your hands slowly from the dome to make sure it is securely fastened to the fan.
