Mount The Infocus In72 Projector

The ceiling mount kit will allow the IN72 to be attached to wood ceilings.

The InFocus IN72 home theater projector can be mounted on the ceiling with an optional ceiling mount kit. The ceiling mount kit allows the IN72 to be attached to wood joist-finished ceilings, exposed joists and wood beam ceilings, among others. The kit comes with all the hardware that you need. The ceiling mount that you purchase needs to be compatible with the projector's dimensions; InFocus sell a universal ceiling mount kit that is compatible with the IN72. The InFocus IN72 projector can be mounted by following these easy steps.

Instructions

1. Drill two 5/32-inch diameter holes into the wood joist through the ceiling using the mount kit's ceiling plate as a template. Attach the ceiling plate with the included wood screws. Tighten with the socket wrench. Use concrete anchors for a concrete ceiling.

2. Screw the threaded extension column onto the ceiling plate and fasten the swivel stop screw. Don't over tighten it; it's designed to stop movement, and over-tightening will damage the column's thread. Screw the projector mount assembly into the opposite end of the extension column.

3. Attach the adapter plate and shoulder together to create the connection block. Use three M4 by 16mm serrated socket pin screws and three 0.198 by 0.313 by 0.375 retaining spacers.

4. Attach the adapter plate and shoulder assembly combination to the projector. Attach the adapter plate, shoulder and projector assembly to the projector mount assembly. Slide them together. Tighten the captive screw to secure the projector.

5. Loosen the screws on the projector mount assembly to adjust yaw (swivel) pitch (forward and backward tilt) and roll (side-to-side tilt) while pointing the projector at the screen to adjust.
