Airplanes on the Ceiling

Because airplanes fly, it's appropriate that they'd be on the ceiling of a child's room. Though airplane wallpaper could be used on the ceiling, there are many other options available. For instance, there are ceiling fans that look like propellers, plane propeller chandeliers and flying pendants that can hang from ceilings. Mobiles display multiple airplanes in one area. For collector's items, hang vintage airplane ornaments or models as well.

Of course, the walls are where a great many airplane ideas can be expressed. Again, wallpaper is always a choice, but there are even more options for decorating walls. Use a real large propeller on the wall, either as a decoration alone or add some posts and make it a clothes hanger. Posters of aircraft can be hung, as well as clings and airplane-shaped chalkboards. There are even clocks, light switch plates, tapestries and curtains with airplane themes.
Airplanes on the Floors
Painting existing furniture with airplanes is one option.
There's no need to stop at the walls and ceiling. Use floor coverings such as foam floor tiles that look like an airport landing strip and airplane-themed throw rugs. Buy furniture such as dressers or cabinets designed with an airplane theme. Buy ready-made pieces, add decals to existing pieces or paint them yourself
