Drapes will look even more dramatic when hung from the ceiling to highlight a large picture window, a bank of windows or even French doors. Ceiling drapes fool the eye into thinking ceilings are taller and make a room interesting and stylish. Drapes can also be hung from the ceiling to divide a bedroom from a living room, for example.
Instructions
1. Mark where the first ceiling mount bracket will go, then measure every 3 to 4 feet and mark where the remaining
2. Install the drywall anchors using the power drill until the head is flush with the ceiling. Then, use the power drill to attach the ceiling mount brackets by screwing directly into the drywall anchors.
3. Slide drapes onto the drapery rod or attach with drapery hooks and place the rod in the ceiling mount brackets. Adjust the drapes so they fall evenly between the ceiling mount brackets.
4. Tighten the small screws located on the underside of each ceiling mount bracket until the drapery rod is secure.
